N. Gregory DeWitt
N. Gregory DeWitt earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995, his Master of Science from UNC-CH
in 1997, and his Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University
in 2003. While attending law school in the evening, Mr. DeWitt worked at
IBM and Lenovo as a systems adminstrator and web application developer.
After opening his Carrboro office in August 2004, Mr. DeWitt has been heavily
focused on real estate law, construction law, land development, and business
counsel. Renewable energy policy is a recent focus area for Mr. DeWitt with
his interest in renewable power plant development projects.
Mr. DeWitt practices in the areas of business law, real property law (residential
and commercial), and responsible land development. He is a member of the
North Carolina Bar Association, the NCBA Real Property Section, the Home
Builders Assocation, the Green Home Council, and the 15B Judicial District
Bar Association.
Joshua J. Horton

Joshua J. Horton earned his undergraduate degree from University of Pittsburgh
in 2003 and his law degree from Duquesne University in 2007. While a law
student, Mr. Horton served as a law clerk with the Honorable Terrence F.
McVerry of the U.S. District Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania.
He also was a law clerk for the Guardian ad Litem of Florida's 15th Judicial
Circuit, where he assisted in the representation of abused, neglected and
abandoned children, and a law clerk for Neighborhood Legal Services in Aliquippa,
Pennsylvania, where he represented survivors of domestic abuse and advised
individuals with a wide array of consumer protection issues. Prior to joining
DeWitt Law, PLLC, Mr. Horton practiced at Stuart Law Firm, PLLC in the areas
of creditors' rights and Workers' Compensation self-insurance regulation.
Mr. Horton's practice includes construction law, business law, creditors'
and debtors' rights, real estate law, and general civil litigation. He is
a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the 15B Judicial District
Bar Association. Mr. Horton is a board member of The Peoples Channel/Durham
Community Media, a non-profit Public Access TV station that provides individuals
with both the access and the know-how to make their own TV.
